We do not bulk bill, but we do accept EPC plans. The EPC plan will allow you to receive a rebate from Medicare, which we can return to you on the spot in clinic if you have your Medicare Card and a Debit Card to return the rebate to.

Yes, Podiatrists can refer patients for imaging.

We use a Local Anaesthetic which numbs the area. This needle can be uncomfortable, however after this the patient should not feel anything going forward. You may have some discomfort during recovery, though often very minimal, which can be alleviated with Panadol/Nurofen as needed. If you are particularly worried about the anaesthetic, your podiatrist may recommend the use of Elma cream to numb the area beforehand. Chat with your podiatrist about this to see what we can do to accommodate your worries.

If you are having a Biomechanical assessment, or specific pain during a particular activity, it can be useful to bring with you the shoes you wear. Otherwise, unless you have previous scans or information from another health professional that you feel may be relevant, you do not need to specifically bring anything. Orthotic Fittings require you to bring with you a pair of shoes for the orthotics to be fitted into. Please bring any referrals or care plans with you on the day also.

If your podiatrist needs to treat your nails, you will need to remove it. You can do this yourself, or your podiatrist will help you do this in clinic.

We are registered with Medicare, NDIS, DVA and HICAPS, and accept all major Credit Cards, including AMEX. Medicare and HICAPS on the spot claiming available.
