Where are you located?We are located in the main street of Thirlmere, opposite the tennis courts and next to the clinic. Click here for our address and directions.

Do I need a referral?No, you don’t need a referral to visit us - we welcome all patients into our clinic. We accept EPC, DVA and Workers Compensation Referrals.

Do you have parking?We have parking located behind our clinic, as well as ample parking on the main road outside the clinic.

Are you wheelchair accessible?Yes we have disabled parking located behind our clinic as well as ample parking on the main road outside the clinic.

What areas do you treat? I'm not sure if a Podiatrist is right for me?Podiatrists treat all areas from the knee to the foot. Podiatrists are able to help with many differing issues with foot, leg and ankle pain, and all general foot care. If you're not sure if we are the right fit for you, give us a call on (02) 4623 4214 and chat to one of our lovely staff.

I have an EPC, do you bulk bill?We do not bulk bill, but we do accept EPC plans. The EPC plan will allow you to receive a rebate from Medicare, which we can return to you on the spot in clinic if you have your Medicare Card and a Debit Card to return the rebate to.

Can podiatrists refer for imaging?Yes, Podiatrists can refer patients for imaging.

Does ingrown nail surgery hurt?We use a Local Anaesthetic which numbs the area. This needle can be uncomfortable, however after this the patient should not feel anything going forward. You may have some discomfort during recovery, though often very minimal, which can be alleviated with Panadol/Nurofen as needed. If you are particularly worried about the anaesthetic, your podiatrist may recommend the use of Elma cream to numb the area beforehand. Chat with your podiatrist about this to see what we can do to accommodate your worries.

What should I bring to my appointment?If you are having a Biomechanical assessment, or specific pain during a particular activity, it can be useful to bring with you the shoes you wear. Otherwise, unless you have previous scans or information from another health professional that you feel may be relevant, you do not need to specifically bring anything. Orthotic Fittings require you to bring with you a pair of shoes for the orthotics to be fitted into. Please bring any referrals or care plans with you on the day also.

Can I keep my nail polish on?If your podiatrist needs to treat your nails, you will need to remove it. You can do this yourself, or your podiatrist will help you do this in clinic.

What payment methods are available?We are registered with Medicare, NDIS, DVA and HICAPS, and accept all major Credit Cards, including AMEX. Medicare and HICAPS on the spot claiming available.
